This application does not hold you to any commitment nor is it a guarantee of acceptance into the program. Once your complete application has been received, the Study Abroad Coordinator will contact you with information on the next steps in the application process, including scheduling your required interview. Participation Requirements
All students accepted to LIM College's study abroad program will be required to complete the following:
Submit a $250 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot in the program.
Submit a scan of your valid passport information.
Submit 2 Emergency contact information.
Sign and submit LIM College's Travel and Study abroad agreements and waivers.
Meet with a Financial Services Counselor.
Schedule an appointment with a physician to complete a health clearance form.
Note that this is not an exhaustive list of participation requirements.
Any participant who does not complete all required pre-departure steps by the given deadlines will not be permitted to study abroad and will be withdrawn from the program. In addition, study abroad participants must maintain full-time status (12 credits) at the College from the time of their acceptance to the program through the end of their program; dropping to part-time status or withdrawing from the College at any point leading up to the program will make the student ineligible to participate and any committed funds will not be refunded. Agreements
I understand that upon acceptance into the study abroad program, I will have two weeks to submit a
non-refundable $250 deposit
to reserve my place in the program. I will be provided with a specific due date for this deposit by the Study Abroad Coordinator at the time of acceptance. I further understand that by not paying the $250 deposit by the given deadline, I will forfeit my acceptance into the program, and my place will be offered to another applicant.
A receipt for the payment
must be submitted to the Study Abroad Coordinator by the two week post-acceptance deadline. I understand that this deposit will be applied towards my tuition for the semester abroad to which I am applying.
